Hey hope everyone had a great weekend. It's been awhile since I did Makeup Monday so I figured it was about time.

 

Here are some of my current favorites/go to products that I am using now.

 

1. Mac Studio Fix Foundation (mine is NC20)

4. Clinique Blush in New Clover

5. Nars Blush in Orgasm

6. Loreal Voluminous Mascara in black - this is hands down the best mascara I have found in a good long while and best part it's under $8

8.be a Bombshell liquid eyeliner in black

9. Too Faced Shadow Insurance- Candlelight (I love the shimmer in this primer)

Makeup Monday

Hello everyone hope you all had a wonderful weekend figured it was time for another Makeup Monday since it has been awhile.

 

So I finally got my New Beauty Test Tube. I will say that I was disappointed this time it is usually packed full of stuff so this time I have to say it my least favorite since I started getting them. Still good for what you pay but nowhere near what I usually receive in it. So here is the breakdown.

These are the full size products I received in.

 

Dr. Brandt Pore No More Cleanser $35
I tried this over the weekend and I really like it.
 

Mally- Black Eye Liner $25
I have actually purchased this liner before and it is pretty good.
 

Simple- Cleansing Wipes $5
I have bought the cleansing wipes before as well and was not thrilled with them.
 

Tarte- Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush $25
The blush I have to admit I love it and was so glad they sent it was one of the things that I have wanted to try but had not gotten yet. Like all of the other Tarte products it is wonderful.

of course the magazine alone is $9.95

 

Smaller sizes of

Stila Multi Use Gel Cream - Pretty good... standard I guess nothing really impressive.

Vinchy- Face and Eye Serum

Phyto- balm

 

They always have a list of their top picks in several categories some of the products I have tried others I haven't so I thought I would give you my top picks. Since there are so many different "categories"  this round is just going to be about skincare since that is obviously where it all starts!
 

Cleanser

 Philosophy Purity with the Clarisonic Mia

Face

 Ole Henriksen Truth Serum Collagen Booster - THIS IS THE BEST will not do without! Sorry but this one wins hands down no matter what other products I have tried (and there have been many) it is packed with Vitamin C and if you are used to using the primers for color correcting you won't need it this evens out your skin. It is a serum but it is not greasy like some things I have tried.

Moisturizer

okay these are the best 3 I have found

  Ole Henriksen Truth Crème Advanced Hydration Pros you can tell a difference the next day after putting it on at night the con for this is amazing  as it is I personally don't like the smell since I don't like anything citrusy.

  Elemis which I love and makes your skin look to die for but lets face it that one you have to make last forever since it is so pricey.

Mario Badescu Honey Moisturizer this one there is nothing but praise the price is not outrageous and it works like a charm.  

Eyes

Clinique- All about the Eyes Serum this I keep in the fridge and put on first thing when I wake up before putting on anything else in the mornings.

Makeup Monday

 

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Last Thursday and Friday was like Christmas in the mail I got in my ipsy box, birchbox and best of all my New Beauty Testube (they only do this one 4 times a year). Needless to say I was in makeup heaven!

I love the bag it came in and will definitely be using this one!

 

 Coastal Scents eyeshadow

I used the one on the lower left and upper right hand side they went on amazing those two colors are perfect for me they had a shimmery tint to them which I love and they lasted all day without my eye primer on which was a definitely a surprising bonus.

 

 

 Mirenesse Lip Bomb

This is a gorgeous shade and I really like it. The shade on is very bold and still moisturized my lips which is a plus I hate any type of matte on my lips.

 

The Bomb Whats your type? Mascara

If you have ever read any of my other makeup post you already know I use more than one mascara daily. This one is really good for the first coat and went on smoothly.

 

Be a Bombshell eye liner

This one was so so not crazy about it but I will use it. When I first opened it I thought I would love it but it did not go on very dark for it being a liquid and the line was way to thin for me.

 

Pequi Oil Treatment

I tried this over the weekend it did not make my hair oily at all and gave it extra shine so this was a thumbs up.

 

 

New Beauty Test Tube

 

As always this is my absolute favorite and by far the best value! This comes in 4 times a year  (January, April, July and October) it is 29.95 for the test tube plus shipping. The magazine alone cost 9.95 if you go and buy it. I have to say though this was by far my favorite tube yet. Just the 3 full size  products they sent cost right at $175

Happy Monday everyone! Don't know about you but I am already wishing it was Friday well that's every Monday but oh well. It's that time of year to start buying Christmas and sending out the Christmas wish list. So today I'm going to ask for your help. I am trying to figure out what fun new makeup I want hubby to get me for Christmas. I have some ideas so here it is...

Makeup Monday and My Style Monday

Today am I doing my Makeup Monday and I am also doing My Style Monday and linking up with Lindsey (my sister) at Running Down A Dream

Okay so todays color look is:
It Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye
Mally Shadow Sticks in Saddle Shimmer lower lid Rosy Taupe middle and the top is Sephora aspen summet with Smasbox liner and elizabeth arden liner both in black.
Mascara is Blinc in Black upper and lower then Lancome Hypnose followed by Diorshow and ending with Mally Mascara yes I do put on more than one but today I used 4:)
Brows as always is Smashbox Browtech people I swear by this stuff!
Lipstick is Lancome Perfect Fig
I also am wearing: Smashbox Halo yellow for color correcting then Clinique almost bronzer all over and finished with Smashbox bronze lights duo.

Now onto My Style Monday

Makeup Monday

Good morning everyone and thanks for stopping by for Makeup Monday! If you have been by before you might have noticed I love all things makeup!

Here is today's:
Started with Smasbox color correcting primer. Then added some Bye Bye under eye by it cosmetics and Dior Nude Foundation. Topped it off with Laura Gellars baked to go powder with Clinique almost bronzer. Then of course you have to add Mallys evercolor poreless face defender.


Now for the fun stuff! Eyes! I am a total all about the eyes kind of girl ;)
I used Smashbox black eye liner (yes I do this first and again before mascara) Next came Mally shadow sticks lower lid in Saddle Shimmer middle in Rosy Taupe then the upper is Sephora in Aspen Summit. Then yes I went back over with the liner. Next is the mascara or 1 of 3 anyway first is dior lash primer. Next was Lancome Hypnose Waterproof then add Dior show. Top off with Smashbox brow tech.
Last touch was lipstick in Sheer Shimmer bronze by avon.
