Award Ceremony and Mason Time

Last Friday I was off work and it was such a wonderful day! Personally I think all work weeks should be Mon- Thur. I had my niece McKayla's award ceremony to go to that morning and I have to say I was so proud of that sweet little girl! She did receive several awards but one that she received was a Christian Living Award. She is always such a sweet and thoughtful child but when she got that I think we were all teary eyed. Obviously her pics are much better my phone has been acting up lately and the colors are not great but here are some that I took. I am so proud of you McKayla and I love you!

After the graduation ceremony I went with Leslie, Mama and Mason out to lunch. Mama had to go back to work and Leslie needed to run errands so I got to keep Mason for a few hours at Mama's. Just me and Mason:) It was absolutely positively wonderful! Here are some of the pictures I took...

Birthday Dinner

Hope everyone had a wonderful and safe holiday weekend! Mine was super busy, long and amazing so much went on it will take more than one post to cover it. I had 4 days off which was so needed. My birthday was Saturday but we did dinner Thursday night with my family since I was going to be out of town Saturday for the day. Here are some of the pictures from Thursday night we went to my favorite Mexican restaurant it was so yummy!

Its Ok

  I am linking up with Amber at Brunch with Amber and Neely at A Complete Waste of Makeup for It's Ok  It's okay to be SUPER excited about the long holiday weekend coming up since it is also my Birthday weekend!   It's okay to have already decided exactly where I want B to take me Saturday to eat, shop and so on.   It's also okay to already know what I am going to order for lunch and dinner and what I want from Starbucks that morning :)  It's okay to know that Monday I will probably sleep in til closer to lunch.  It's okay to be super excited about going to dinner with my family tonight to my favorite restaurant in town.  It's okay to be my age and still want to chalk my hair... right? lol  It's okay to be really excited and nervous about getting another tattoo   It's okay to be excited on seeing what free samples you are going to get in the mailbox each day  It's okay to just take a break now and then.   What are you okays this week? Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Memorial Weekend!

Sometimes and Always

Today I am linking up for Sometimes & Always

Sometimes - I go through and pick out things to redo a room
Always - I find a reason to put it off and it never gets done:(

Sometimes -  I go into a restaurant and think I will try something new..
Always - end up getting the same thing (hey if it's good why change ... right?)

Sometimes - I have a ton of blog post I want to get done
Always- have so much to do only a third of them get done! 

Sometimes - I wish I had made different choices or thought more about them more
Always - the choices I made define who I am now and even though there are some things I wish were different they made me stronger

Sometimes - I ask why me or why now?
Always - need to remember that there is someone out there going through more than we are and we are blessed
