Favorite Holiday Tradition

 Today I am linking up with Amber & Neely for the Holiday Blog Challenge. Today is your favorite holiday tradition new or old. We have several some old some new but I would have to say my favorite is an old one. Every year growing up we went to see the Miller & Rhodes Santa... The Legendary Santa. This is one of my favorite memories growing up. We would wake up way to early get all dressed up and go wait in line. This is one tradition that everybody was there for. We all went my mom, dad, sisters, cousins and grandparents.  We were always one of first in line waiting to see him come down the chimney. The Miller & Rhodes Santa is the one my mom and her brother and sister went to see growing up then my generation went. We started back going with the next generation when McKayla came along. The first year we went back with her (this will be the 3rd)  the 3 L's went up there and we had our picture taken with him. We will be going this coming Saturday and I can't wait! Next year we will be adding a new little one to see on Santa's knee with Leslie's little man.  What is your favorite Holiday Tradition? 

Makeup Monday

Smashbox makes an AMAZING Eye Brightener. I have tried several eye brighteners in the past even the liquid from smashbox and was not that impressed this one will be a permanent fixture however it's subtle but I can really tell the difference!

Another new one I tried was Nars Blush in Orgasm I had heard many great things but looking at it I always thought it had to much of a peachy look to it for me. I went into the store and tried the color out and knew I had to get it when I got the 20% off.  This color is perfect if you are on the fence go for it!

If you have seen any of my past post I am all about the eyes and I am obsessed with Mascara I use more than 1 everyday. You can't have enough in my opinion. Well I came across this little jewel and let me tell you I LOVE IT! It's a lower lash mascara from Clinique. On my upper lashes I use Dior, Clinique, Mally and so on (seriously I think I have about 7 or 8 I change up with right now) and upper lashes the bigger / longer the better. Try that on your lower lashes and you have a problem... well here is the solution. It is small and gets all the little ones the big brushes can't. If you don't try anything else try this it's only $10

What I'm Loving Wednesday

I'm loving that this is the last day before a wonderful 4 day weekend! I NEED A BREAK!!!!

I'm loving that tomorrow I can relax and spend time with my family.

I'm loving the sales that are happening Friday although this year I will be shopping online... in my PJ's... at Mama's. Way better than driving an hour away to the stores!

I'm loving that I already have finished buying several people's gifts.

I'm loving that I will be able to finish putting up my decorations this weekend!

Finally Friday

Friday .... my favorite day let the stress be over and the enjoyment begin. Makes it so much better knowing that next week is a 3 day week! This weekend is going to be jam packed.

I have a pampered chef party to go to tonight at a friends house.

Tomorrow it's our Girl's Day (me,mama,L2,L3 and McK) we are going to see the Rockettes and shop some and we gotta get our Starbucks fix!

Then Sunday is Thanksgiving with hubby's family !!!

Its Ok Thursday

It's Ok to be really excited when the gifts I ordered for people come in the mail to really want to get back into the baking thing... holidays i think are the culprit! to wish there were more hours in the day! to wish less of them were at work and more with friends family and just in peace and quiet to be addicted to caffeine ... it's great for those who don't need it but me i will hurt you if you take it away! to wish for 5 at 8 am! to want Panera at some point on Saturday... hint hint L2,L3 and mom to wish I could move or live anywhere else but know I can't be to far from my mom and sisters to be ready for something wonderful... I keep thinking and saying but anytime now would be great to be nervous about getting everything done on time that needs to be to really want to be like Samantha and twitch my nose and it all be fine! (Think I've been watching to much bewitched) to be very sad that I can't go see Breaking Dawn the first day (yes you can cry for me now)  to know sweet baby boy will be here before to much longer so I can finally hold him and tell him how much I love him!

It's the most wonderful time of the year...

In case you can't guess I love Christmas! The family time, visiting with friends, going to see Santa, the lights, decorations all of it. They are starting to do the Christmas movies already and I am loving it! I have started some of my decorating part of it being my village set... I will be posting pictures once it is done but I keep switching it around right now. I also have to find the box with all of the people so keep a check for the official decorating post. Makeup Monday

Happy Monday everyone! Don't know about you but I am already wishing it was Friday well that's every Monday but oh well. It's that time of year to start buying Christmas and sending out the Christmas wish list. So today I'm going to ask for your help. Makeup Monday

Happy Makeup Monday hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I had an awesome package at my house on Friday and I just have to show you the goodies!

There is an amazing magazine New Beauty that comes out and if you love makeup you will love it. You also have the option to go on auto delivery of the test tube through New Beauty or at QVC (they have limited quantities there so you have to get them fast). You get the magazine as well as the test tube filled with some full size and some jumbo samples. The ones I have gotten I have gotten so far are from Q.  I really wanted it this time and here is what I got...

okay so this I was worried would make my skin really oily not the case it really seeps into the skin and is amazing!

Algenist- Anti Aging Moisturizer

So far so good this is one thing I am very picky about. I like the ones that go on with a really creamy feeling and this has that texture so I do like it. To soon to know much else.

Perricone MD- Firming Neck Therapy

I like the texture so we will wait and see ...

Laura Gellar- Baked Eyeshadow

Have not tried the one they sent yet but I do have several of her baked eyeshadows in other colors and I really do love them.

Mally - Eyelining Pencil in Black

Mally that should say it all.. of course I love this it is insane just like everything else she has! The black is a very rich creamy look to it and I love it!

Wen- Seasonal Winter Vanilla Mint

Wen .... people you know i love anything Chaz does but this one is a home run I absolutely love the scent (check back on Q not available yet but coming out this month)  of this and as always what it does to your hair is a miracle! This is one I will definitely have to stock up on.

Philosophy- Snow Angel shower gel

This has such a clean refreshing scent and not overpowering at all. I think this one is one anybody would love will definitely putting the full size on my ever growing wish list.

Supersmile - Whitening Toothpaste

So far so good. I do like it love the minty clean taste... we will see.

The best part ...all of this was only $29.95 plus shipping and tax. Just the full size baked shadow would have been $23 and the full size liner $15 you just can't beat it!

Its Ok Thursday

  I am linking up with Amber at Brunch with Amber and Neely at A Complete Waste of Makeup for Its OK Thursday Its OK to have gone home last night and had pizza and cookies for dinner while reading my nook and being all around lazy to know I'm going to put up my Christmas village this Saturday... I have waited long enough to know my Christmas decorations won't go up the Saturday before Thanksgiving since I already have  plans they will go up the 13th since there is now something every weekend this month to be so excited because my mom, sisters and I are going to do a girls day (last one before little man is born) the Saturday before Thanksgiving. I love spending time with them! to want to go home and watch elf tonight while i sort party orders  to be very behind in watching all the things that I dvr  to be really excited about my Erin Condren items that I ordered and can't wait to get... address book, 2 sets of Christmas labels and a set of note pads and with all of the GCs and coupon codes I got it all for the price of the address book YAY ME:) to look forward to see what's going to be in this months Birchbox! 

to really totally obsessive about all things Christmas decorations, lights and so on minus listening to Christmas music not my thing at all  (I know totally weird)
