For a wedding last weekend I wore Julep Ellen. It went on amazing and lasted longer than any of my other ones. I put it on Friday and I kept it on until Wednesday which for me is wonderful!

Back on Track

 

 

On Monday I finally started back counting my points. It has been awhile since I have been on weight watchers but of everything I have ever done that worked the best.  I personally don't like or feel the need to go to the meetings since I don't like being around people I don't know or feel comfortable with. I do however like having people I know to talk to luckily several girls at work are doing it too which makes it so much easier and keeps you on your toes. I was on it several years and have only been to a meeting 1 time ever and that was actually after I had been on it for a few years. I hope to be where I want be Christmas (fingers crossed). I just need to remember once I get to the number I set I need to let that be enough. I have a tendency to get where I think I want to be then when I get there it is never enough. Hopefully I can stick to what I decided on.

My Sweet Boy Bo



 

Happy Friday everyone! I am so glad the weekend is finally about to start it has been such a long week.
Today I want to talk about my sweet Bo he will be 10 in January and any of you that have pets know they really are your babies. Since B & I have never been able to have children he is really my baby.

Over a month ago I went outside to play with Bo and noticed a raw piece on the top of his ear. I didn't know what he did hit it? scratch it? I had no clue other than it was a piece about the size of my pinkie that was open and raw. That was on Saturday by Monday morning it was terrible. B took him to the vet turns out it was a tumor that broke through the skin. They removed one on his stomach and another on his foot but said it was to dangerous for them to remove the one on his ear so they stitched it back so it would not get infected. (He had several tumors removed about a year and half to two years ago) In just over a week after he came home the one on his ear had at least tripled in size. He took him back and they told him he would have to put him down or send him to a specialist. Putting him down was not an option. We took him to a different vet and he was able to remove it even though he lost most of his ear. I won't post pictures of what it looked before he went to the second vet because it was terrible and not for anyone with a week stomach.

The surgery with the second vet went amazing he did loose most of his ear but for now he is much better. The few days after I brought him home I will be honest I was truly questioning my decision wondering if I was jsut being selfish by doing whatever to keep him. He had some type of problem with his eyes where I wondered if he was going to loose his vision the drops they gave him though worked miracles. It hurt him to eat and he just basically would lay there. It broke my heart. I cried more during those few weeks than I have in a very long time. I have to say I have the best Mama, sisters and daddy who constantly there when I needed to talk or cry and were always calling to check to see how he was feeling.

 

I am happy to say now that he is back to his old self for the most part. His appetite is back he has more energy and is playing and having a wonderful time.

This is my baby now he still has stitches until sometime next week but looks so much better than I would have ever expected when all of this started.

 

Catch Up

 

As usual I am behind but better late than never right? Bryan's Birthday was the August 25th and we spent a wonderful weekend out of town with his family.

 

For Bryan's birthday we went Friday night to the Jason Aldean & Luke Bryan concert. It was AMAZING!

 

 

This picture I think is hilarious it was after the concert you can tell by the look on his face he was sick of hearing me go on and on about how wonderful they were.

 

 

We stayed at his sisters and the next morning Regan (our niece) could not wait to wake him up to tell him Happy Birthday and of course give him a mask to wear.

 

 

He decided he wanted to spend the day at the beach. Let me just say the picture just does not do it justice the rainbow over the ocean was stunning!

Somebody loves her uncle B and doesn't want him to go anywhere.

 

We went to the Mexican Restaurant near there for dinner and B got to wear this for his birthday.

 

Sunday we went to eat with his family then off to a movie. It was such a relaxing and wonderful weekend.

This is the gift Regan gave him. She went through her stuff found a bag and started putting things in there she wanted him to have. So sweet!
