We will miss you Sophie girl...

 

 

 

Sometimes things just can't turn out the way you want. On Monday morning my cat Sophie was put to sleep... even as I write this I still can't believe it.  I took Sophie to the vet because she had stopped eating in the matter of about 2 and half days she went from playing following me around eating any and everything to nothing. It happened so fast and it completely broke my heart. The vet was amazing his whole office was but he said there was nothing he could do even if it had been caught early. She was suffering and I doubt she would have made it even another 24 hours. It was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do.

 

Sophie was the youngest of my 3 pets and absolutely beautiful. She followed me around like a dog would sometimes it would drive me crazy every step I would take from room to room she was either under my feet or right behind me... now I miss it so much. She was waiting every morning when I woke up outside my bedroom door and at night when I got home she was on the mat at the front door waiting with a meow every time I came in. I am going to miss her so much you become so attached to pets me especially since they are the only babies I have.

I love you and miss you Sophie. Toby keeps going room to room sniffing and looking for his best friend. You will always be in our hearts.
