Christmas Decorations- Part 1

TREE & ORNAMENTS

One of my favorite things about Christmas is opening up all of the boxes of ornaments it's a look into memory lane I have them starting from the first year I was born. So today I thought I would share a few with you that are on my 2 full size trees. I already told B I have officially run out of room on the "family" tree so I will be stalking the stores the day after Christmas to get another only it will have to be a skinny tree to fit. It will be red and white and red and silver ornaments only. I also wouldn't mind replacing my character/ Disney tree yes I'm a big kid I know...  Hey you have to upgrade every so often right? Some of the pictures are not that great I had to take them with my phone so sorry.

The Family Tree

My care bear ornament. This is the only character on the family tree and it always will be I got this when I was maybe 5 or 6 from my Aunt and Uncle and it has always been one of my favorites. It is always in the middle of the front halfway down the tree... Yes certain ornaments have to be in the same place ever year.

I LOVE my Santa my Grandma made this for me when I was little on the back it even says love Dama because I coulnd't get out Grandma yet.

This adorable ornament is the one I got from LeAnne for the blog ornament exchange along with the sweetest Christmas card. Thank you I love it!

This is actually in my curio cabinet. On this shelf are my first and second Christmas ornaments that can't be hung because the top piece has been broken for several years (hey they are 29& 30 years old) and the rocking horse is the same. Behind it is the ornament that used to sit on the top of my mama's tree of her and daddy's first Christmas (that one is in there because I am scared to death of it breaking).

Do you see the Santa boot... can't miss it right it's twice the size of my Diet MD can. Well it is supposed to be an ornament. Yes that's right I thought it was adorable online and had to have it but I also thought it was a normal ornament for a normal tree. Lesson learned ... look at the dimensions before you buy. Hey can't say I didn't get my moneys worth right?
